On Thursday, April 24, 2025, the students of St Andrew’s gathered in the school hall for a special prayer service prepared by our Year 6 students. Together, we reflected on the significance of the Easter season and offered prayers in remembrance of Pope Francis, following the sad news of his passing. We also took time to commemorate ANZAC Day, honouring the sacrifices made by those who have served our country.
We are proud of our Year 6 students for their reverent leadership and thoughtful preparation of this meaningful service.
We pray:
Loving God,
Thank you for the life of Pope Francis. Help us to keep his kindness alive in our words and actions.
May we be helpers, peacemakers, and friends to all.
All: Amen.
May God bless us with joy in our hearts, kindness in our hands, and love in everything we do.
Amen
